Listen, Talk, and Walk

We all have hopes that we can pass certain things on to our kids. A while back I was driving with my two children and Dave Matthews Band came on the radio. I am a huge Dave Matthews Band fan and so it’s not uncommon for his songs to pop up on my playlists. My son asked me to turn it up which gave me a small sense of pride, my daughter asked me to turn it off. I could’ve stopped dead in the middle of the road. She didn’t tell me to just turn it down, she told me to turn it off! To say I was taken aback would be an understatement. I realize this is trivial, I realize its no big deal its just music, but it’s Dave Matthews Band!
