Ten Tips for Sending Your First Kid to College

I remember sitting at the end of a Life Night, where parents were socializing, and teens were snacking. We were wrapping up our “College Bound” Senior Send-Off Night our youth ministry held annually in late July. We all know it’s coming – the farewell. Those teens whom we’ve been with for four (or maybe seven) years through parish ministry were packing their bags, buying bins from Ikea, and posting on Instagram their final moments with BFFs from high school.
